      New Hotel Athens was redesigned by award-winning Brazilian duo the Campana Brothers, who retained original 1940s features like the black marble staircase. The 79-room property functions as a gallery of sorts, with artistic installations, handcrafted furnishings, and a lobby-level wooden decoration made from reclaimed materials. Guests can also access temporary art galleries and tour or class about local culture on site.
